AXEN Onboarding Guide
Onboarding Guide Overview
Your Onboarding Journey: The First Week
Part 1-3 | Tues - Thur | 11 AM PDT | Zoom Link
Part 4 | Thur | 1:30PM PDT | Zoom Link
You Made the Right Move.
Everything from this point forward is about you — your income, your growth, your time.
We built AXEN to be the brokerage we always wished existed. One that pays you what you're worth, gives you real support so you're not figuring everything out alone, and stays out of your way so you can actually run your business.
This onboarding guide walks you through everything — your tools, your Deal Desk team, your marketing playbook, and how to start making money immediately. Don't just skim it. Go through it step by step, and by the end of your first week, you'll be fully operational.
We're here for you. Let's get to work.
— Chase Lance, Co-founder
Why AXEN Exists
Most brokerages take a big cut of your commission and give you a logo, an email address, and not much else. You're left figuring out your own tech, your own marketing, your own transaction management — and paying for the privilege.
AXEN was built to fix that. We designed a platform where agents keep more of what they earn, get real operational support from day one, and have access to tools and systems that actually help them close more deals.
We're not a traditional brokerage. We're an operating platform — with lending, title, insurance, home warranty, education, and a full tech stack built around one idea: your success should come first.
What You Actually Get Here
More Money Per Deal
Flat fee per closing. Low annual cap. No percentage splits. Once you cap, you keep 100%.
A Team That Has Your Back
Deal Desk handles your contracts, deadlines, and coordination so you can focus on clients, not paperwork. Live support everyday.
Tech That Works For You
CRM, IDX website, geofarming, AI-powered marketing, Google Workspace, transaction software & so much more.
Revenue Share
Build a team and earn from their production across 5 levels. 100% of closing fees are paid back to agents.
No Junk Fees, No Surprises
The admin fee can be covered by the client or vendors. You keep your money where it belongs.
What Makes AXEN Different?
We Handle the Hard Stuff
Hiring, training, compliance, legal, E&O insurance — that's on us. You focus on selling. We assume the liability.
You Keep Your Brand
Your name, your logo, your identity. We integrate behind the scenes to support your business, not replace it.
A Platform, Not Just a Brokerage
Most brokerages make money one way: your split. AXEN is built with multiple profit centers so we don't need to squeeze agents to survive. That's why we can offer more and charge less.
Multiple Revenue Streams
Beyond your commissions & revenue share, you have access to mortgage, title, insurance, home warranty & more affiliate income.

Basic Profile Setup
  • Claim & verify your business name (e.g., 'Jane Smith | AXEN Realty').
  • Go to business.google.com. Use your real AXEN Realty business name (e.g., 'Jane Smith | AXEN Realty'). Avoid keyword stuffing like "Best Realtor in Miami" as Google's 2026 algorithm is stricter on enforcing official naming.
  • Choose the right primary category
  • Choose 'Real Estate Agent' as primary category. For secondary categories, add specific niches like "Real Estate Consultant" or "Commercial Real Estate Agency."
  • Set your service area
  • Define the cities, zip codes, and neighborhoods you serve. Remove your street address if you work from home.
  • Add your phone number
  • Use a local number, not a toll-free one. Ensure it matches your website and all other profiles.

Google Optimization Checklist: Part 2
Your Google Business Profile (GBP) is often the first interaction potential clients have with you online. Optimizing it is crucial for local SEO and building trust.
Profile Content & Branding
  • Write a compelling business description
  • 750 chars max shown. Lead with what makes you unique, areas served, and specialties. Include keywords like 'AXEN Realty agent in [City]'.

  • Add your AXEN Realty logo
  • Upload the official AXEN logo as your secondary image for brand recognition.

  • Include property photos, neighborhood shots, team photos, open house images, and behind-the-scenes content. Upload at least 5-10 high-resolution photos of your recent listings.

  • Action Shots
  • Include photos of you at closings or meeting with clients to humanize your brand.
  • Add a cover photo

Your Google Business Profile (GBP) is often the first interaction potential clients have with you online. Optimizing it is crucial for local SEO and building trust.

  • Include Products

  • Respond to every review (Keyword-Rich)
  • Respond to every review within 24–48 hours. Naturally include the neighborhood and service (e.g., "Glad I could help you with your home sale in [Neighborhood]!"). Thank positive reviewers by name. Address negative reviews professionally and offer to resolve offline.
  • Aim for 2-3 new reviews per month
  • Consistency matters more than volume. A steady stream of recent reviews signals active business.
Posts & Updates
  • Post weekly updates (1-2 times / week)
  • Share new listings, open houses announcements, market stats, client testimonials or neighborhood highlights. Consistency keeps your profile active.
  • Use the 'Event' post type
  • Promote open houses with date, time, and address. These show prominently in search results.
  • Use the 'Offer' post type
  • Promote free home valuations, buyer consultations, or seasonal incentives.
  • Add CTAs to every post
  • Use buttons like 'Learn More,' 'Call Now,' or 'Book' to drive action from every post.
  • Include images in every post
  • Posts with images get significantly more engagement. Use branded templates for consistency.
Google Optimization Checklist: Part 4
Your Google Business Profile (GBP) is often the first interaction potential clients have with you online. Optimizing it is crucial for local SEO and building trust.
Q&A & Messaging
  • Seed your Q&A section
  • You can ask and answer your own FAQs (e.g., "Do you offer free home valuations?"). This helps Google's AI (Gemini) provide instant answers to potential clients. Pre-populate with FAQs: 'What areas do you serve?', 'Do you work with first-time buyers?', 'What are your fees?'
  • Monitor and answer new questions
  • Check weekly. Unanswered questions look bad. Prompt, helpful answers build trust.
  • Enable GBP messaging
Ongoing Optimization
  • Audit your profile monthly
  • Check for accuracy: hours, phone, photos, services. Google sometimes edits profiles without notice.
  • Track performance using GBP Insights
  • Monitor searches, views, calls, direction requests, and website clicks. Adjust strategy based on data.
  • Keep NAP consistent everywhere
  • Add new photos regularly
  • Upload at least 2–3 new photos per month. Fresh visual content boosts engagement and search ranking.
  • Stay active
  • Google rewards active profiles. If you stop posting and updating, your visibility will decline.
SEO Basics for Agents
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is how people find you on Google — without you paying for ads.
What SEO Is
SEO is the process of optimizing your online presence so Google shows your name and website when people search for a real estate agent in your area.
How to Show Up in Local Searches
Make sure your Google Business Profile is complete and active. Add your city and neighborhood names to your website bio and blog posts. Get listed on Zillow, Realtor.com, and other real estate directories.
Keywords to Target
"[Your City] real estate agent", "homes for sale in [Your City]", "best realtor in [Your Neighborhood]", "sell my home in [Your City]". Use these naturally in your bio, website, and social media.
Google Reviews Strategy
Ask every satisfied client for a Google review immediately after closing. Send a direct link to your Google Business Profile review page. Aim for 10+ reviews in your first 6 months. Respond to every review — positive or negative.
Content = SEO
Every blog post, social media post, and video you create adds to your online footprint. Consistent content creation is the single best long-term SEO strategy.
Social Media Strategy
You don't need to be everywhere — you need to be consistent where it counts.
Where to Focus
Instagram (primary for real estate visuals and stories), Facebook (great for community engagement and ads), LinkedIn (professional network and referral source).
TikTok/YouTube optional but powerful for video content.
Content Pillars
  • Educational (market updates, buying/selling tips, mortgage info)
  • Behind-the-Scenes (your day, open houses, new listings)
  • Testimonials & Success Stories (client wins, before/after, reviews)
  • Listings & Just Solds (new listings, price reductions, sold announcements)
  • Personal Brand (your story, values, community involvement)
Posting Frequency
Instagram: 4–5x per week (mix of feed posts, stories, and reels)
Facebook: 3–4x per week
LinkedIn: 2–3x per week.
Stories daily if possible.
Engagement Rules
  • Respond to every comment and DM within 24 hours.
  • Engage with others' content — don't just broadcast.
  • Use local hashtags and tag your city/neighborhood in every post.
Pro Tips
  • Batch your content creation once a week.
  • Use Lofty's AI Social Agent for Creation & Scheduling.

Commission Split Structure
Your commission split at AXEN is $500 [PRO Plan] or $1,000 [ELITE Plan] to AXEN. This applies to every transaction until you reach your annual cap.
2
What Is a Cap?
A cap is the max amount you can pay to AXEN in a 12-month period. Once you hit your cap, you keep 100% of your commission for the remainder of the year.
3
Cap Amount
Your annual cap is $6K [PRO Plan] or $12K [ELITE Plan]. Once reached, 100% commission for the rest of the year.
4
When Does the Cap Reset?
The cap resets on your anniversary date. After reset, your split returns to $500 or $1,000 / file until you cap again.
5
Example
If you close a $500,000 deal at 3% commission = $15,000 gross commission.
  • PRO Plan: You earn $14,500 and AXEN earns $500.
